“Collect things you love, that are authentic to you, and your house becomes your story.” — Erin Flett

I have so much stuff it’s not even funny. I have over 60 action figures, around 300 books, 5 sets of dice, multiple playbills, a lot of pens, way too many stickers, and an unhealthy amount of rocks.

I picked out a few of my favorite things from each collection which was so difficult I’m going to try not to ramble while I talk about them.

First things first, I have some of my action figures (please don’t yell at me about the boxes, I keep them but I just don’t have enough space in my room to display them inside the box). I have a really nice Spider-Man action figure that I got from Newbury Comics for Avengers: Endgame. It is a really detailed and large Iron Spider suit that even includes the legs.

Speaking of Spider-Man I also have this really nice black and white action figure that I got from Loot Crate where he is hanging from a street lamp. I think the silhouette of this one is really nice.

I have this really cool exclusive Batman’s cowl that lights up. It has a metal base and glass cover And the cowl is made of a really interesting silicone type material. It also came with a book of all the Batman outfits throughout the years which I was very happy to add to my collection.

Speaking of DC and exclusive things, I also have these Batman 80th anniversary POP Vinyls. Two of them are scenes, with Red Hood and Deathstroke in one and Robin and Batman in the other, and the final one is Wayne Manor that came with a little Alfred (Who is super cute!).

I also found it really important to add in Gambit who I recently got because his design is really cool.

I also collect rocks because they’re shiny and nice. My favorites are opalite, blue goldstone, and rainbow moonstone. I have opalite pendulum, owl, and cat.

I have a lot of books which isn’t being helped by the fact that I now work at a used bookstore where I get a discount and get to pick free books if they don’t make a profit. Some of my favorites that I picked out or Rainbow Rowell’s Carry On which I have a signed edition of and Cassandra Clare’s Queen of Air and Darkness which is also signed.

Speaking of writing and reading, I have a bunch of comics too. I have classics from the 1980s and really nice new editions. One of my favorite comics that I have is my Super Sons omnibus. It’s so nice, the art is so good.

I collect a lot of stickers because I love to accessorize things, and what better way to do that than to permanently stick something to it? I get all my stickers from Redbubble, they usually have a sale going on with stickers and their stickers are really high quality.

I have a lot of playbills because I love Broadway and I’m a huge nerd so I keep them. In this picture, I have dear Evan Hansen (which I saw with the original cast), Gloria Steinem, and The Lightning Thief.

I play Dungeons & Dragons and for D&D you need dice. You really only need one set if you don’t mind a rolling your one D6 multiple times but I thought it was really important to have five sets of dice. Not because I necessarily needed them for the game but because they’re really pretty and make me happy inside. I also have a wooden box and drawstring bag for them.

And the final thing I will be talking about, however, this is not the final thing I collect, are pens. I really like to do hand lettering and pens are really satisfying to me. I love having an array of colors and sizes of tips to do different things with even though most of my art and notes are digital.

I’ve been expanding these collections for about 10 years now which is why they’re so large and I love everything them as if they were my child.
